Corona, Corona and again Corona: On Sunday, the pandemic is again the topic of the ARD broadcast. The titles of the shows are very similar.
Déjà-vu during the Sunday talk: For the 35th time, ARD presenter Anne Will has the pandemic as a topic on Sunday. The title of the program after the “crime scene” in the first is this time: “The Corona emergency – can Germany still break the fourth wave?”.
According to the ARD, guests should include the virologist Melanie Brinkmann, the acting Minister of Labor Hubertus Heil (SPD), the Saarland Prime Minister Tobias Hans (CDU) and the FDP politician Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann.
The titles of the “Anne Will” editions have often looked very similar for the last 20 months. It began on March 8, 2020 with the topic “Quarantine, hamster purchases, canceled events – how justified is the fear of the coronavirus?” This was followed by programs such as “Concern about the second wave of infections – is Germany loosening the corona measures” too brisk “?” (April 26, 2020) or “Lockdown before Christmas – is this how Germany can turn around the pandemic?” (13.12.2020).
This year the election campaign was more of a topic for weeks, but there were also programs like «Incidence back below 100 – does the great ease or the great recklessness begin now?» (May 16) or two weeks ago “Corona new infections at their highest level – does Germany need a vaccination?” (November 7th).
