In her nail studio, Violeta Stiasny can draw the Eiffel Tower on one and a half centimeters, or even the crucifixion of Jesus. Even greats like Paul McCartney or Bruce Springsteen wanted their services.
Ratch, ratch, ratch. Fine dust whirls through the air. Violeta Stiasny lets the file fly over her client Petra’s artificially lengthened nails. She wipes the nail with her thumb, frees it from the powder layer and uses the file again. Then the tiny little plastic particles blow again. Stiasny repeats the movements until she is satisfied with the length and shape. A work of art is to be created here, one on each finger to be precise.
