Ralf Wintergerst, head of the traditional money printing company Giesecke+Devrient, invites you to a symbolic location for the conversation: the hall in the company headquarters on Munich’s Prinzregentenstrasse, where the euro was printed until a few years ago. The room is now a meeting place that can be used in many different ways. He is an example of what Wintergerst wants to promote: the change to something new. As president of the industry association Bitkom, digitalization across the country cannot go fast enough.
