It is the most important economic criminal process in the history of the Federal Republic: the Wirecard process. It’s about billions of dollars in fraud and who is to blame. However, a key figure is missing in the courtroom: Jan Marsalek, Wirecard’s former CFO, has been in hiding for three years. Now there is a sign of life from him: he has made a statement through his lawyer. In this episode, SZ Wirecard expert Stephan Radomsky explains what is in there and how it could influence the process. He says: Regardless of whether the letter is introduced as evidence in court – it has already influenced the process.
