SZ podcast: 49 € ticket: what it does, why it could be more expensive – economy

It doesn’t matter whether it’s on the bus, train, tram, S-Bahn or U-Bahn: the Deutschlandticket has been valid since this Monday. For 49 euros per month you can use everything that falls under the heading of “local public transport” throughout Germany. So: buses and trains from local transport companies, trams, underground and suburban trains in the big cities, regional trains and regional express trains from Deutsche Bahn.
