If you want to change the streaming service, you can rely on relocation helpers. The music library migrates automatically to the new provider.

Many users have a large music library on their streaming services. Especially those who have been with a provider for a long time often have many playlists, albums and songs saved. This can sometimes be a reason why some may shy away from changing providers. Because manually transferring all the music from one service to another can be very time-consuming.

Possibly have to search for thousands of songs from the new provider? With movers like “Free Your Music” and “Tune My Music” users can save themselves that. The Services make it possible to transfer music collections almost automatically between a whole range of Services.

From Spotify to Apple Music and back

On the computer, or in the case of “Free Your Music” also via iOS and Android apps, users can choose between popular streaming services and alternatives that are less well known in Germany. These include Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer and Amazon Music.

In a few steps and after just a few minutes, the music library should then be available from the new provider. Users select the music platform that is to serve as the source, log in there and decide whether they want to transfer individual songs and playlists or everything – and to where. For example, the lists from Apple Music end up on Spotify or the favorite songs from Spotify on Amazon Music.

Deezer has been working directly with Tune My Music since October 2021. Users will find the integrated “Transfer your favorites” link in the streaming service’s app or on the web under “Settings”. With a tap or click, they are then forwarded directly to the digital relocation helper.

Additional functions are also offered

But this convenient moving service also has its price. With “Free Your Music”, users can either pay around 12 euros once for the transfer of an unlimited number of songs, take out a premium subscription for just under 40 euros a year or 15 euros for three months, or buy “lifetime” access for 200 euros. With the Premium and “Lifetime” models, you also have access to other functions such as saving playlists in the cloud or synchronizing the lists on multiple platforms.

For $4.50 a month – or $2 a month if billed annually – Tune My Music users can also transfer an unlimited number of songs, sync playlists, or export them in text form. If you have a rather small collection, you can also convert up to 500 songs for free.
