With the current high temperatures, many people, especially families with children, are looking to cool off in the swimming pool or at the bathing lake. Again and again it comes to swimming accidents, as on Tuesday evening in a Bamberg outdoor pool: A three-year-old girl was rescued motionless from a hot tub. Despite successful resuscitation and intensive treatment measures, according to the Bamberg public prosecutor’s office, it could not be saved. The girl died on Wednesday afternoon.
