About fifty graves in the cemetery of Fontenillesa town of 5,500 souls located 25 km from Toulouse, were desecrated by swastikas and Satanist symbols on the night of December 4 to 5, the municipality confirmed on Thursday.
“I am deeply scandalized and disgusted,” said the mayor of the town, Christophe Tountevich, on social networks.
In a Facebook post, the elected official announced that he wanted to file a complaint and indicated that the graves had been cleaned. “To trivialize these facts is to give up and we will never give up in the face of these acts of extreme cowardice”, writes the city councilor.
