A 23-year-old from the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau called the emergency number 13 times on Thursday night, presumably for no reason, and was therefore taken into custody. The woman from Unterthürheim, a part of Buttenwiesen, requested, among other things, an ambulance when she called, the police said. Both the police and the emergency services checked on the woman, but could not determine an emergency situation.
Although the officers calmed and persuaded the woman, it did not appear that she would stop calling 911, according to police. That’s why the 23-year-old was taken into custody and her cell phone was taken away. Now she is awaiting charges for misusing emergency calls. The police couldn’t say why the woman called so often.
