The police searched numerous apartments in Swabia on suspicion of distributing child and youth pornography material. The police announced on Friday that two young people were among the initial 17 accused in the Augsburg area and the Aichach-Friedberg district. With one exception, all of the accused are male. A total of 74 data carriers were confiscated during the searches on Tuesday and Thursday.
According to the police, in most cases the suspects are said to have distributed photos or videos of abuse on social networks, clouds or messenger services. However, there is basically no direct connection between the suspects. For two of them it turned out that their data had been misused. According to the police, they were ruled out as suspects.
