Survivors Blame Greek Coast Guard – Politics

The Greeks were the first to have triggered the accident, in which several hundred people died in the Mediterranean Sea last week, say survivors of the SZ. The reports agree with those of other witnesses.

They do not want to be seen with journalists, the two Syrians, for fear that the Greek authorities could cause them problems. But they want to talk. Preferably in the car, some distance from the container depot in Malakasa, just under an hour north of Athens. This is where the Greek authorities brought the 104 men who survived when their boat sank off the Greek coast last week.
