AfD climbs to a record 19.5 percent – Greens and FDP with losses

In the current Insa survey, the AfD improved by 0.5 percentage points to a record value and is only just behind the SPD. The three parties in the traffic light coalition clearly missed a majority in the survey.

Dhe AfD survey high continues: According to “Image” the party at Insa is now 19.5 percent after gaining 0.5 percentage points. This is her highest value ever measured by Insa. In the previous week, the AfD was still level with the SPD. In the current survey, however, the Social Democrats were able to improve by one percentage point to 20 percent.

The Union parties gained half a percentage point and came to 27 percent. The FDP lost one percentage point and reached eight percent. The Greens (13 percent) and Left (4.5 percent) each lost half a percentage point. The other parties remain unchanged at 8 percent.

According to the survey, the traffic light parties come together to 41 percent and thus clearly miss a parliamentary majority. A black-red alliance of SPD and Union with a total of 47 percent and a Jamaica coalition of CDU/CSU, Greens and FDP with a total of 48 percent would each have parliamentary majorities.

For comparison: In the surveys of the institutes in the past two weeks, the Union is between 27 and 30 percent, the SPD between 18 and 20 percent, the AfD between 17 and 19 percent, the Greens between 14 and 15 percent, the FDP at 7 percent , the left between 4 and 5 percent and all other parties together between 8 and 10 percent.

For the Insa opinion trend, a total of 2003 citizens were surveyed from June 9th to 12th, 2023. The maximum statistical error tolerance was given as plus/minus 2.5 percentage points.
