The President of the Republic has just landed on the tarmac of Marignane airport. Emmanuel Macron therefore joins the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Justice who arrived late this Monday evening in Marseille.

The Minister of the Interior’s visit to Marseille began earlier in the morning with a session in Marignane (Bouches-du-Rhône), in the premises of Airbus Hélicoptères, the 3rd largest industrial site in France and the first private employee of the Southern Region.
In particular, Gérald Darmanin was planned to examine the assembly line for the Puma and H160 helicopters. The minister was to pay particular attention to the H160s which are the subject of two contracts between Airbus Hélicoptères and the Ministry of the Interior. Around ten machines have in fact been ordered by the national gendarmerie in 2021, for delivery planned for 2025.
