Superstar Tom Brady Announces Comeback in NFL, American Football – Newsticker

Football star Tom Brady has announced his comeback and given the NFL back its biggest draw. Just 40 days after retiring on Feb. 1, the 44-year-old quarterback backed down.

“In the past two months I’ve realized that my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” wrote the most successful professional in NFL history with seven Super Bowl victories on his social media channels. “That time will come. But not now.”

“Unfinished business”

Brady announced he will be playing his 23rd season in the league for the Bucs, with whom he won the Super Bowl two years ago and lost in the playoffs to eventual champion Los Angeles Rams last season. He wrote of “unfinished business”, which means something like: There is still something to be done. “Total excitement,” said Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians, according to NFL journalist Ian Rapoport.

German NFL fans also have reason to celebrate: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have already been confirmed as one of the two teams that will play the first NFL game in Germany in Munich. Opponent and date are not yet known, but Brady will probably be there now.

Absolute top star

Last season he proved that the playmaker is still one of the very best in sport and that his age has made him slower but no less dangerous. No one in the league had as many passing yards (5,316), touchdown passes (43), successful passes (485), and passing attempts (719) as the California native.
