Adele is coming to Munich for four concerts. “Pretty much right in the middle of Europe,” she says happily. And she also likes the dates.
The British singer Adele (35) will come to Munich for a whole series of concerts in the summer. How the engagement came about She says personally on Instagram: “A few months ago I received a call about a series of summer performances. I was very happy with my shows in London’s Hyde Park and my residency in Las Vegas, so I had no other plans,” says Adele.
But she continued to write that she was “too curious” not to pursue this idea. She describes what particularly attracted her: “A one-of-a-kind, custom pop-up stadium tailored to whatever show I want to host? Ohh!?”

And she also really raves about the venue and the dates: “Pretty much right in the middle of Europe? In Munich? That’s a bit unusual, but still fabulous!”, Adele comments on her plans for the Bavarian metropolis.
Specifically, she will “give four concerts on August 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th at the Munich exhibition center”, as the “Bild” newspaper reports. “Right after the European Championships? […] And the Olympic Games are just around the corner?” says Adele happily.
She hasn’t played in Europe since 2016 and can’t “imagine a nicer way” to spend her summer “closer to home,” she concludes her post.
Leutgeb and Lieberberg excavated for two years
The fans have the tailor-made open-air events to thank the event managers Klaus Leutgeb (50) and Marek Lieberberg (78), who also organized the elaborate shows at the exhibition center by Helene Fischer (39) and Robbie Williams (49) in the summer of 2022 had organized. The two had been trying to lure Adele to Germany for two years, and there had been discussions for a year. The confirmation came on Tuesday evening.
