Ryan Reynolds announces completion of Deadpool 3
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are relieved: “Deadpool 3” is in the can. The Marvel action comedy is scheduled to hit theaters at the end of July.
Jackman, 55, also took to social media to thank the entire cast and crew, and his “best friends” – Reynolds and director Shawn Levy. Jackman joked that he loved every minute of the production, except for the diet and the hard training. Now it’s time to shave, he wrote in a video in which he has his hair and beard cut off.
Reynolds and Jackman referred to the planned theatrical release on July 26th. Filming on the third “Deadpool” part was interrupted last summer by the strike of screenwriters and actors in Hollywood. This also meant that the cinema release was delayed.
Reynolds already embodied the antihero in the black and red costume in “Deadpool” (2016) and in “Deadpool 2” (2018). Wolverine actor Jackman last showed his claws in “Logan” (2017).
