The 30-year-old is initially on the bench in Helsinki. Instead, coach Oliver Glasner lets Rafael Borré, Daichi Kamada and Jesper Lindström start on the offensive. Randal Kolo Muani, who was the best Frankfurt player and scorer in the 6-1 draw against FC Bayern, is initially sitting outside against the royal team.
Champions League winner Real Madrid will be sent into the duel of the European title holders with the expected eleven by successful coach Carlo Ancelotti. As usual, Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric play in midfield, while Ancelotti has Frenchman Karim Benzema at the front of a 4-3-3 system. Former Bayern professional David Alaba starts in central defence. The German national player Antonio Rüdiger is initially a reservist.
