On the night of Sunday to Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will meet in the Super Bowl. They are two of the most successful franchises in the NFL. The 49ers have already won the NFL crown five times in their history, and for the Chiefs it is the fourth final in five years (two wins, one loss). The fact that the host city, in this case Las Vegas, is not taking part is considered the “Home Field Advantage Curse”. In 58 years, only six teams from the host city even managed to qualify for the playoffs – two won the Super Bowl.
