Munich will be the German football capital – at least these are the words the city is using to announce this year’s Munich game in the American National Football League (NFL). But before the Carolina Panthers play as the home team in the arena in Fröttmaning in the fall, the big final game of the current NFL season in the USA takes place on February 11th: the Super Bowl. Munich’s football fans can also enjoy this event – but only from a distance.
It should start at 12:30 a.m. on the night of February 12th. At Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the Kansas City Chiefs will play against the San Francisco 49ers, a rematch of the 2020 final game. Back then, as last year, the team from Kansas City won. The game will be broadcast on television in this country on free TV by RTL, as well as on RTL+ and DAZN.
