This year’s Super Bowl is reminiscent of a Hollywood movie. Not only that the Los Angeles Rams won against the Cincinnati Bengals. As in a good film, there were also one or the other romantic event.

In terms of sport, this year’s Super Bowl was definitely something to behold. After the shaking triumph and final minutes in the style of a Hollywood strip, the Super Bowl champions of the Los Angeles Rams cried like a good happy ending in the cinema. Quarterback Matthew Stafford’s team experienced many twists and turns on Sunday evening on the most dazzling stage in US sports – in the spirit of a screenwriter from the entertainment metropolis in California. In the end, the home team’s victory gave the starting signal for a mega party the likes of which the city has not seen in years.

But there were also emotional, touching and, above all, romantic moments apart from the sporting part.

Super Bowl of cheesy memories

Taylor Rapp, for example, had taken precautions and had a very important ring in his pocket even before the win. Amidst the boisterous celebration on the field at SoFi Stadium and in front of the assembled squad, the Los Angeles Rams defenseman got on his knees and asked for his girlfriend’s hand – who said yes. It will be a few weeks before Rapp gets his championship ring for the 23:20 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He had already organized the even more important ring and now handed it over to some of the players, cheered on.

The club captured this special moment in a video and published it on Twitter – where the athlete and his fiancée were also congratulated.

Player Van Jefferson, on the other hand, couldn’t get off the field fast enough to go to the hospital after the win. According to US media, his wife Samaria was taken there during the game because the birth of their second child had begun. Jefferson, who had his share of the 23:20 against the Cincinnati Bengals with four catches, grabbed his daughter on the field, ran through the locker room and made his way, as could also be seen in part on a video.

Two hours after the game Jefferson posted a photo with the baby On the arm.

Of happy dances and slippers

LeBron James also had reason to be happy. First his buddy Odell Beckham Jr. caught the first touchdown in the duel with the Cincinnati Bengals and put the Rams in the lead. The basketball superstar therefore performed a joyful dance in the stands – and thus made himself relaxed for the halftime show of the music superstars Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and a surprise guest, 50 Cent. James rapped along with the songs and a little later wrote in capital letters on Twitter: “The greatest halftime show I’ve ever seen”. To do this, he grabbed some exclamation marks.

When teammate Jessie Bates intercepted a pass from the opposing quarterback, Vernon Hargreaves had no turning back. In his socks and flip-flops, the Cincinnati Bengals defender stormed onto the field jubilantly in the first quarter despite not even being in the squad. Therefore, the Bengals conceded a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct – which was not decisive for the defeat.
