The Sui Foundation has launched DeepBook, a new order book for building blockchain-based DeFi tools, describing it as a “one-stop shop for trading digital assets.”

DeepBook is a public good that provides infrastructure that DeFi builders can tap into for liquidity, making Sui the easiest and most robust place to build DeFi apps.

Sui expects this new order book to help developers. “Build apps that exchange tokens seamlessly.”
Greg Siourounis, managing director of the Sui Foundation, believes that the DeepBook will be the foundation for any DeFi tool built on the blockchain, with Mysten Labs and MovEX assisting DeepBook technically.
“Combining Sui’s unique capabilities for parallel transactions with the public on-chain order book, the community can now create a facility that is transparent, scalable, and usable by any DeFi project on the network.” Siourounis said in a statement.
DeepBook also helps crypto traders reduce their reliance on centralized exchanges such as Binance or Coinbase.
