Matti Klemm, the new voice of the cult elephant Benjamin Blümchen, should seem somewhat familiar to many cinema fans.

The The death of the previous Benjamin Blümchen spokesman Jürgen Kluckert (1943-2023) in August 2023 left a big gap. He had already lent his distinctive voice to the popular comic character since the mid-1990s; no one could sing the legendary “Töörööö!” of the star elephant smash into the microphone as powerfully as he does.

Debut with “Benjamin Blümchen as a singer”

As the radio play label “Kiddinx” announced, a suitable successor has now been identified in radio play and voice actor Matti Klemm (48), who will continue the Benjamin Blümchen cosmos with his voice in the future. He will celebrate his debut from March 22nd in the 157th radio play episode “Benjamin Blümchen as a Singer”.

German voice of “Aquaman” Jason Momoa

Matti Klemm is an established name as a voice actor. Cinema fans know him, among other things, as the German voice of Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (50, “Green Book – A Special Friendship”) or the action hero Jason Momoa (44, “Aquaman”). He is also in the ears of television audiences as a voice-over for the Kabel Eins channel and numerous reports and documentaries.
