“Stupid mistakes”: Robert Habeck allegedly secretly filmed

See the video: Robert Habeck allegedly secretly filmed – that’s behind the video.

This video by Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck is currently spreading on social media.

The supposedly current clip is distributed along with the claim that Habeck is not aware that the camera is running.

The video has more than 44,000 views on Twitter.

But what about the recording?

The video by Robert Habeck is not up to date – moreover, it is not a secret recording that was made without the knowledge of the Vice Chancellor.

The clip comes from a “Welt” interview by the Green politician from January 2019.

By “dumb mistakes” Habeck is referring to controversial campaign videos that were causing a stir at the time.

The conclusion to be drawn, which he mentions in this context in the video, is his departure from Twitter and Facebook.

The excerpt of the interview will be taken out of context in October 2022 and used to stir up sentiment against the politician.

In addition, the situation in which the allegedly mistakenly recorded conversation is said to have taken place gives reason for skepticism.

A politician standing in front of a television camera and microphone will hardly forget that he could potentially be filmed.

How do we check videos for manipulation in the editorial office? It is important to look at the details. The individual frames of a video often reveal whether a video has been edited. We take a close look at each image and enlarge individual sections. Indications of a fake are, for example: lack of motion blur, unnatural shadows or editing errors. The general rule at stern is: Seriousness before speed. We always double-check facts and material thoroughly before publishing them. For this we work with the cross-editorial “Team Verification” together with RTL, NTV, RTL2, Radio NRW.
