Six years after the conviction of Siegfried Mauser, the music college is presenting a study on abuse of power and sexual violence within its ranks. The results are sobering. What measures President Lydia Grün is now announcing.

Two court cases alleging sexual violence and abuse of power have shaken the Munich University of Music and Theater (HMTM) for years. In 2018, its former president Siegfried Mauser was sentenced to prison for three cases of sexual assault. The former composition professor Hans-Jürgen von Bose was acquitted of rape charges in 2020.
