How many leading roles are there for women over 50? And for transsexuals and homosexuals? Everything is very manageable, if you can see anything at all. It can certainly be read as a statement that the Augsburg State Theater is putting two evenings at the beginning of the season entitled “Between People”, the focus of which are two characters who – not only – struggle with little visibility in the theater. Nice, you think, the State Theater is fulfilling its social mission. But fortunately that falls far short.
