Strong concern in a high school after a message promising a “bloodbath”

Strong emotion at the Louis-Feuillade high school in Lunel. On Monday, the Hérault establishment received threats from a student, via the messaging system of the digital work environment (ENT), threatening to commit a “bloodbath”. “Hello, on November 16, see you in the canteen, Bloodbath in high school. I hate you all. Fuck you all shitty life shitty high school I’m gonna kill you. The threats were then sent to students at the school, who immediately forwarded them via social media to other students.

Seized Monday evening by the establishment, the gendarmes specializing in cybercrime quickly established that the student’s account, at the origin of these messages, had been hacked. The family of the student victim of the hacker filed a complaint, as did the establishment.

The school principal wrote to parents, school staff and teachers. “All the actors are mobilized and remain attentive to the situation”, she explains. The gendarmes notably patrolled around the establishment on Wednesday in order to reassure students and teachers.
