Strommast falls in Parsdorf on Auto – Ebersberg

Because of the strong gusts of wind, a power pole broke off on Sunday evening around 10 p.m. in the Parsdorf Ost residential area and fell on a parked car. This is reported by the Poing Police Inspectorate in a press release. The windshield, hood and bumper of the vehicle, which officials say belongs to a Munich company, were damaged. The amount of damage is estimated at around 6500 euros. However, no one was injured in the accident.

Since it could not be ruled out that high-voltage current was still flowing on the power pole, the “neighbours, curious onlookers”, as the police write, were asked to leave the scene of the accident and go back to their houses. Until the arrival of the repair crew from Bayernwerke, the area was cordoned off over a large area by the supporting fire brigade of Vaterstetten.
