Strike on the TCL network on Wednesday, no metro C and D all day

Due to a strike on Wednesday, the Lyon public transport network will be very disrupted. Metro lines C and D will not run from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The others will run slowly, it will take a train every 4 to 5 minutes.

On the tram side, lines T1, T5 and T7 will remain at the depot during the day. T2 will circulate with a frequency of 6 to 7 minutes, T3 every 9 minutes, T4 every 8 to 10 minutes and T6 will circulate with a frequency of 10 to 12 minutes.

Against the allotment project

The so-called “strong” bus lines, namely the C lines, will provide the service but again, the wait will be longer between each passage. For the rest, find out more on the TCL website: www.tcl.fr. No problems, however, for the two lines of funiculars.

The unions thus intend to protest against the “allotment” project. Currently, only Keolis is mandated to manage the operation of the network, but Sytral could launch a call for tenders to divide this management between several distinct operators: the metro on one side, the trams on the other, etc.
