Another “dark day” to be expected for users of Ile-de-France transport. The RATP unveiled on Monday its traffic forecasts for this Tuesday, January 31, where a national mobilization at the call of the unions to protest against the pension reform and the postponement of the legal retirement age. And it looks complicated for users. After a first day of mobilization on January 19 which had greatly disrupted the traffic, bis repeated. The RATP and the SNCF invite “all travelers who have the possibility to favor teleworking or to postpone their trips on the network that day”.
RER
Traffic will be very disrupted on lines A and B of the RER. On the RER A, on average 1 train out of 2 during peak hours and 1 train out of 4 during off-peak hours. The times of the first departures will be around 5:35 am. At the end of the service, the last visit to Châtelet is scheduled around midnight. Interconnection maintained at Nanterre Prefecture until 9 p.m.
In the SNCF zone: between Nanterre Préfecture and Poissy/Cergy: 1 train out of 2 at peak times and 1 train out of 4 at off-peak hours on average. Interconnection maintained at Nanterre Prefecture, no change of train necessary in this station. Plan a few trains after 9 p.m. between Nanterre-Préfecture and Poissy/Cergy-le-Haut.
On RER B, on average 1 train out of 2. Interconnection interrupted at Gare du Nord. In the SNCF zone: between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry-Claye/Charles de Gaulle Airport 2): 1 train out of 3 at peak times and 1 train out of 2 at off-peak hours until 10:45 p.m. Interconnection interrupted at Paris Nord: a change of train is necessary at this station.
Traffic will be very disrupted on the RER C, D and E, with 1 train out of 10 on average.
RER C : trains will only run between Paris Austerlitz Grandes Lignes and Dourdan/Etampes/Massy/Versailles Chantiers via Juvisy. No trains at off-peak times on the entire line except between Paris Austerlitz and Brétigny (1 train per hour).
RER D : trains will only run during peak hours between Goussainville and Châtelet and between Paris Gare de Lyon/Melun/Corbeil Essonnes via Evry Courcouronnes. Interconnection suspended between Paris Gare de Lyon and Châtelet: no train between these two stations.
RER E : Trains will arrive and depart from Paris-Est station. Trains will only run during peak hours between Paris-Est and Tournan/Meaux. Haussmann, Magenta, Rosa Parks and Pantin stations are not served. Normal traffic between Esbly and Crécy.
Subways
If the lines 1 and 14 must operate normally due to their automation, the RATP warns of a risk of saturation on these two lines. Due to work related to the extension, line 14 will be closed at 10 p.m.
1 train out of 2 at peak times and 1 train out of 4 at off-peak times with risk of saturation on line 4. The following stations will be closed: Simplon, Strasbourg Saint-Denis, Réaumur-Sébastopol, Cité, Montparnasse-Bienvenue, Raspail, Alésia. The station: Gare de l’Est will only be open during peak hours (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m./4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
Line 2 : 1 train out of 3 at peak times and 1 train out of 4 at off-peak times. The following stations will only be open during peak hours (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m./4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.): Stalingrad and Villiers.
Line 3 : Open from Pont de Levallois – Bécon to Havre-Caumartin, 1 train out of 3 between 7.30am-9.30am and 4.30-7.30pm.
Line 3a : traffic interrupted.
Line 5 : 1 train out of 3 between 6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. The following stations will be closed: Hoche, Laumière, République, Richard Lenoir, Campo Formio.
Line 6 : Open from Nation to Denfert-Rochereau, 1 train out of 3 between 6am-10am and 4pm-8pm.
Line 7 : 1 train out of 3 between 6.30am-9.30am and 4pm-7.30pm. The following stations will be closed: Château-Landon, Cadet, Opéra, Tolbiac.
Line 8: Open from Créteil Pointe du Lac to Reuilly-Diderot, 1 train out of 3 between 6.30am-9.30am and 4.30-7.30pm.
Line 7a : 1 train out of 3 between 6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Line 9 : 1 train out of 2 between 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The following stations will be closed: Trocadéro, Richelieu-Drouot, Grands Boulevards, Strasbourg Saint-Denis, République.
Line 10 : 1 train out of 3 between 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The following stations will be closed: La Motte Picquet Grenelle, Duroc.
Line 11: 1 train out of 3 in the morning on the entire line between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and 1 train out of 5 in the afternoon between Belleville and Mairie des Lilas only between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The following stations will be closed: Porte des Lilas, Jourdain, République, Arts et Métiers.
Line 12 : 1 train out of 3 at peak times and 1 train out of 4 at off-peak times. The following stations will be closed: Pasteur, Montparnasse Bienvenue.
Line 13 : Open from Saint-Denis Université/les Courtilles to Invalides in the morning between 6.30 am and 9.30 am with 1 train out of 3 and open in the afternoon at 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm from Saint-Denis Université/les Courtilles to Champs-Elysées Clémenceau.
Buses and trams
On average, 8 out of 10 buses will circulate on the entire network. Normal traffic on the Noctilien network. The circulation of some of our lines could be disrupted because of the route taken by the demonstration planned in Paris during the afternoon.
On the tramway, traffic will be normal on the lines T6 and T8 and T3bslightly disturbed on the lines T1, T2, T5, T7 (four out of five trains) and T3a (three out of four trains).
Transilians
H-line : one train out of three on average.
J-Line : no train between Conflans Sainte-Honorine and Mantes-la-Jolie and between Argenteuil and Ermont-Eaubonne.
K-line : trains will only run during peak hours.
L-line : no train between Paris Saint-Lazare, Nanterre University and Cergy-le-Haut.
Line N : trains will only run during peak hours. No train between Plaisir-Grignon and Mantes-la-Jolie.
P-line : Trains will arrive and depart from Paris-Est station. Trains will only run during peak hours between Paris-Est and Tournan/Meaux. Haussmann, Magenta, Rosa Parks and Pantin stations are not served. Normal traffic between Esbly and Crécy.
R-line : no train between Melun and Montereau via Héricy.
U-line : one train out of three on average.
