The writers of the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” have revealed the beginning of the fifth season. They published a short excerpt of the current script on the X platform (formerly Twitter). The first three lines can be read: “Darkness – The sound of a cold wind. Creaking trees. And… – The voice of a child. It sings a well-known song.”
The post has already received over two million views and has been shared, liked and commented on thousands of times. The reactions are different. There are fans who can hardly contain their anticipation, others complain about the lack of information.
The fifth season tells the end of the story about the youth group from Indiana.
Actors’ strike prevents filming from starting
Due to the Hollywood double strike by the writers and actors unions, the cameras in the dream factory are currently virtually completely at a standstill. The writers of the series are also taking part in the strike, which is why not a single scene has been filmed yet. It is still unclear when “Stranger Things” fans can expect the season to start.
The fourth season of the mystery-horror science fiction series with Noah Schnapp (19) and Millie Bobby Brown (19) made it to second place in the ten most successful Netflix series in 2023. The third season landed in tenth place. Only the first season of “Squid Game” is currently more successful on Netflix.
