As Eleven, Millie Bobby Brown celebrates record-breaking success. But the 18-year-old has other big projects in mind.

“Stranger Things” continues to break Netflix records. The two final episodes of the fourth season were released on Friday and apparently temporarily paralyzed the streaming provider’s website due to the high demand. With the dramatic end of the fourth season, however, a long wait for the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things” begins for the fans. For leading actress Millie Bobby Brown (18), however, it will not be boring. She’s landed a number of big roles alongside the hit series…

When Brown first slipped into her “Stranger Things” role Eleven, she was twelve years old. She had previously taken on small acting roles in series such as “Grey’s Anatomy” or “Modern Family”. With the leading role of Elfie in the science fiction mystery series, she became a sought-after star overnight. It wasn’t long before major Hollywood productions knocked on the teen idol’s door and signed her for more major roles. Brown has previously starred in blockbusters such as ‘Godzilla II: King of the Monsters’ (2019) and its sequel ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ (2021). With “Enola Holmes” followed in 2020 another leading Netflix role alongside Henry Cavill (39) and Sam Claflin (36).

Numerous Netflix projects for Millie Bobby Brown

Aside from filming the “Stranger Things” finale, Millie Bobby Brown has a lot coming up. The second part of the detective film “Enola Holmes”, in which she plays Sherlock Holmes’ little sister, has already been filmed. Filming was done completed in January 2022. Fans can probably expect the release on Netflix later this year.

For Brown, this is far from the only Netflix project on her list. Since February 2022 she has been in front of the camera for the fantasy film “Damsel”. In the film, she plays a princess who is about to be wed to a prince, only to find out that she is actually meant to be fed to a dragon. According to the industry magazine “Deadline” In addition to starring in the film, the 18-year-old is one of the executive producers. The flick is expected to hit Netflix in 2023, according to the Internet Movie Database.

Millie Bobby Brown is also working again for Netflix with the “Stranger Things” creators Joe (50) and Anthony Russo (51). As it became known in December 2020, the well-established team is working together on the science fiction film “The Electric State”. Set in an alternate future, the flick tells the story of a young girl who realizes that a strange but cute robot has been sent by her missing brother. Together they go in search of him and uncover a big conspiracy. The Russo brothers have been working on the project since 2017, the script was written by “Avengers” authors Christopher Markus (52) and Stephen McFeely (52). Rumor has it that Chris Pratt (43) will take on the male lead alongside Brown. “Deadline” calculates with release in fall 2022.

Will Brown become a “Star Wars” star?

With the book adaptations “The Girls I’ve Been” and “The Thing About Jellyfish” Brown has two other confirmed projects on the table. “The Girls I’ve Been” is the film adaptation of the bestselling teen book of the same name, which, as reported by “Deadline”., also to appear on Netflix. In the film, Brown plays the daughter of a con artist who has become a skilled manipulator herself. Jason Bateman (53) is to produce the film. “The Thing About Jellyfish”, on the other hand, is a production of the film company Universal Pictures in cooperation with Reese Witherspoon (46) and her production company Hello Sunshine. That reports the Industry page “The Hollywood Reporter”. The film is about Suzy, a teenager whose best friend drowned. Doubting an accident, Suzy sets out to find out what really happened.

Another big and lucrative role could soon beckon to Millie Bobby Brown – she is said to be a “Star Wars” heroine. The British newspaper “Mirror” brought up these rumours. There are said to be secret talks between the actress and Disney about a role, the paper said. Disney is aware of what an icon she already is for viewers aged 10 to 30, an anonymous source said in the “Mirror” report. “She could easily take home $15 million for a first movie or series,” the insider says.
