Ireland is struggling with a violent storm. Tens of thousands of households and businesses are without power. Air and train traffic are also affected.

In According to media reports, at least 170,000 households, farms and businesses in Ireland have been cut off from the power grid due to storm Isha. The “Irish Times” reported this in the evening, citing an electricity supplier.

The Irish Coast Guard urged people to stay away from the coast because of the storm. She distributed a video from the port city of Dun Laoghaire via the online platform Strong waves could be seen on the video.

According to the Irish Times, airlines at Dublin Airport canceled at least 148 flights. There were also disruptions in train and bus traffic, and numerous trees fell on the streets. A multi-region warning for strong winds remains in effect until this evening.
