New face for the Fürstenhof: actor Lukas Leibe is the next newcomer for the ARD telenovela “Storm of Love”.
Another new face for the successful ARD telenovela “Sturm der Love”: Lukas Leibe (32) joins the series as Theo Licht. In addition to numerous theater appearances, the 32-year-old has also appeared in the ARD programs “Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr” and “In aller Freundlich”.
“Theo is a charming, sly and erratic character who goes through a remarkable development,” says Leibe himself, describing his character. “He’s a fighter who’s faced a lot of difficulties in his life but has retained his enthusiasm, creativity and empathy.”

According to press information, Licht’s childhood was marked by the loss of his mother, who left the family. Due to his rebellious behavior, he regularly attracts attention at school and therefore always gets into trouble. After a few professional failures and disappointed expectations, Theo finally decides to try his luck in Bichlheim.
“I really enjoy the role. As an actor, I find it particularly appealing to explore the many layers of her personality,” Leibe continues. The 32-year-old will appear in the series from episode 4,082 (expected air date: August 16).
Even more fresh wind for the Fürstenhof
At the end of July, actress Yeliz Simsek (33) as Lale Ceylan will make her “Storm of Love” debut, as was announced in early June. She will play the cousin of the series character Shirin Ceylan, who was embodied by Merve Çakir (29) in seasons 17 to 19 and who recently found her wedding happiness.
“I love the role of Lale and I’m very happy that I get to play her,” says Simsek about her character. “Lale is funky and brings a breath of fresh air to the ‘Fürstenhof’ as a fitness trainer”. Simsek is part of the “Storm of Love” family from episode 4.068. The episode is scheduled to air on July 27, 2023.
Born in Cologne, she has already worked in various film and series productions. She made her cinema debut almost ten years ago in the comedy “Macho Man” with Christian Ulmen (47) and Aylin Tezel (39). She has also appeared in the two “Tatort” editions “Storm” (2016) and “Never Without Me” (2019), as well as in the “Traumschiff” offshoot “Cruise into Happiness” in 2022.
