The former “Verliebt in Berlin” star Laura Osswald will play the new cook in “Storm of Love” from April.

Laura Osswald (40) completes the ensemble of the successful ARD telenovela “Storm of Love”. From April, the former “In Love with Berlin” star can be seen as Greta Bergmann in the series. The broadcaster announced this on Tuesday. Described as “down-to-earth, warm-hearted and humorous,” the new character makes her debut in Episode 4013. The expected air date of the debut episode is April 14, 2023.

New cook with connections to the Fürstenhof

Greta Bergmann becomes the new cook at the Fürstenhof. The post becomes vacant as André Konopka leaves the hotel restaurant to open his own restaurant in South Africa. So Robert Saalfeld needs reinforcements in the star kitchen. André has recently spent time in South Africa again and again. It is not known whether the new character also means farewell to André actor Joachim Lätsch (66). In any case, the ARD has not (yet) reported a series end.

But Greta is not only connected to the Fürstenhof through her job. She is Yvonne Klee’s cousin. There is also someone who brings back memories for Greta. The creators do not reveal who it is.

“Serial child” Laura Osswald is looking forward to her new job

Laura Osswald is looking forward to her new job. “I am and will remain a serial child,” says the actress. “For me there is nothing better in my job than coming to my ‘set family’ every day”. With her character she connects the “passion for cooking and the ability to go through life independently”. The actress describes Greta as a “funny, lovely and confident woman”.

“Serial child” Laura Osswald had her first regular appearances after the turn of the millennium as a nurse student in “Alphateam – Die Lebensretter im OP” and as a mad student Cara in “Schoolgirl”.

She became even better known from 2005 with a leading role in “Verliebt in Berlin”. In “Doctor’s Diary” she was the rival of the main character Gretchen Haase (Diana Amft, 47). Most recently, the Munich resident had guest roles in “Der Alte” and “Kroymann”.
