The day before the storm in the north was amazingly benign, the storm creeping up so to speak. On Friday the sun suddenly shone in Hamburg and up to the coast of Schleswig-Holstein, for about the first time in living memory, after ages under a sky like a wet rag. Then, the weather service had already warned, it started. Because then came Nadia.
