In Remlingen (Würzburg district), a 36-year-old driver lost control of his car and ended up in a ditch. According to police, the unloaded trailer of the vehicle was hit by a strong gust of wind, causing the car to skid. The car remained on its roof. The man remained unhurt. In Neustadt near Coburg, several trees fell onto a garage roof. The police said there was damage worth 15,000 euros. In Stockheim, Upper Franconia (Kronach district), a railway underpass had to be closed because it was flooded due to the persistent rain.
