The Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) now recommends the corona vaccination for all twelve to 17 year olds. It is wrong to say that this decision should have come sooner. The vaccination commission had not made it easy for itself and resisted political pressure a few weeks ago to give a recommendation for this age group with the approval of the Biontech vaccine for twelve to 17 year olds. This is precisely why this new decision is all the more trustworthy. From a scientific point of view, there are now no more arguments to refuse injections to children between the ages of twelve and 17.
