Steinhöring: mobile home on fire – Ebersberg

Microsleep was probably the reason for an accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon on the B304 near Steinhöring. As reported by the police, a 68-year-old from Freising with his mobile home left the roadway to the right just before the turnoff to Hohenlindener Straße. In doing so, he damaged the crash barrier and the mobile home threatened to fall into the stream that flows there.

The engine compartment of the vehicle caught fire, which was first temporarily extinguished by the police before the fire brigade took care of the firefighting. The driver of the RV was unharmed. The damage is estimated at around 12,000 euros. The B304 was completely closed for around two and a half hours by the Steinhöring and Tulling volunteer fire brigade with 30 emergency services to record the accident and salvage the mobile home.

The Ebersberg Police Inspectorate is asking any witnesses to the accident to call (08092) 8268-0.
