Steam Deck: Announced support for many more Xbox titles

After Microsoft announced a few months ago that numerous Xbox titles would be available on the Steamdeck running, a number of other games are now supported. A total of 16 games have been added to the lists of verified and playable titles.

According to Pure Xbox the titles have been checked over the last few months and now placed in the appropriate lists. While verified games can be played without any problems, one or the other bug sometimes appears in playable titles. The new verified games are Deathloop, Pentiment, Doom Eternal and Dust: An Elysian Tail. Furthermore offers Steamdeck Support for “New Super Lucky’s Tale” and “Ms. Splosion Man” since the recent update.

Playable titles include Halo Infinite and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In addition, Steam Deck owners can now play “Forza Horizon 4”, “Fallout 4”, “State of Decay 2” and “Tell Me Why”. Quake Champions, Fable – The Lost Chapters, ReCore: Definitive Edition and LocoCycle are also supported. In total, more than 5000 games have already been reviewed by Valve. The number of games available should continue to grow so that players can benefit from more titles in the future.

Steam Deck supports Xbox Cloud Gaming

Since the beginning of the year, the game streaming service Xbox Cloud Gaming can also be used on the Steam Deck. The service can be run via the Edge browser. This is currently the only way to use Game Pass on the Valve console. Since game streaming requires a stable internet connection, native support for Xbox titles may be a better option for most gamers.
