The FDP is sending another liberal to the Bundesbank board. The previous parliamentary state secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMDV) and rail commissioner of the federal government, Michael Theurer, is to take over one of the currently three vacant positions on the central bank’s committee. It can be assumed that Theurer will therefore hand over his party functions, the party says.
