Mick Jagger and Hugh Grant were just some of the notable guests at the state banquet in honor of King Charles III. at the Palace of Versailles.
Queen Camilla and Brigitte Macron opted for navy blue ball gowns for the festive occasion, while their husbands appeared in tuxedo jackets with black bow ties. The illustrious guests at the gala dinner in the famous Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles included Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger (80) and British actor Hugh Grant (63).

The invited French and English celebrities initially had to contend with the adverse weather conditions when they arrived in the castle’s inner courtyard. Because on Wednesday there was stormy weather in Paris, which not only blew away Stones frontman Jagger’s hairstyle. The 80-year-old superstar, who owns a castle in France, appeared in a black tuxedo and white shirt, as well as a gray scarf. His 36-year-old girlfriend Melanie Hamrick cut an extremely elegant figure in a figure-hugging black dress with a stunning silver cape.
In addition to Jagger, his compatriot, the British actor Hugh Grant, also took part in the gala dinner with his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein. Eberstein wore a black velvet dress with a slit for the occasion. She combined strappy sandals, an eye-catching pearl necklace and a glamorous clutch.

A memorial ceremony and wreath-laying ceremony for the victims of the two world wars took place at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris in the presence of Macron and his wife. During the event, fighter jets from both countries thundered in formation over the heads of those present.
