State aid – New supervisors for Uniper – Economy

The badly hit energy company Uniper is to get new supervisory boards as part of the planned nationalization. Tom Blades, Jutta Dönges, Marcus Schenck and Ines Zenke are to move into the Uniper control body with the planned change of ownership to the federal government, the company announced. Dönges and Zenke are sent by the federal government. The former Linde and Bilfinger manager Blades is to take over the chairmanship of the supervisory board. Schenck, who was on the board of Eon and Deutsche Bank for a long time, is currently advising the federal government on the energy crisis in his role as investment banker at Lazard. Dönges was managing director of the finance agency until October and was responsible for the economic stabilization fund, among other things. Zenke is a partner and co-owner of the commercial law firm Becker Büttner Held. On Monday next week, an extraordinary general meeting is to approve the nationalization of Uniper.
