“Loved Boy” is emblazoned in golden letters on the huge cover with Vincent zur Linden’s beautiful face. He plays a dual role in Matthew Lopez’s “The Legacy,” a play about being gay in New York, directed by Philipp Stölzl at Munich’s Residenztheater.
Zur Linden, born in 1994 and only a member of the ensemble since 2021, is popular, also with audiences and critics, who celebrate him as a discovery. The trade journal “Theater heute” once again asked 46 critics from Germany, Austria and Switzerland about their favorites for the 2022/23 season. Vincent zur Linden shares the title “Young Actor of the Year” with Dominik Dos-Reis from the Bochum theater. By the way, a few months ago he already received the Kurt Meisel Prize 2023 from the Association of Friends of the Residenztheater.
