After the shock elimination of Lénie last week, it was the turn of Axel and Julien to be in danger for this first semi-final, this Saturday January 20, 2024. Who emerged victorious and can finally boast of be in the final? We tell you everything.
The week of January 8 was difficult for the candidates still in competition. It was in fact a veritable marathon of evaluations at the end of which one candidate was immunized and the other four nominated. It was Pierre who escaped unscathed, while Julien, Héléna, Axel and Lénie were in danger. It was ultimately the latter who left. And during the live broadcast, Pierre announced that he wanted to face his partner in his semi-final, which will be broadcast on January 27. This evening, it was Julien and Axel who competed against each other under the eyes of their teachers and the public.
The first finalist of the Star Academy is…
Axel notably sang a duet with the artist Zaho de Sagazan and Julien performed Dear friend with Marc Lavoine. The two students in danger also clashed on The Show Must Go On. And they presented solos filled with emotion. Although they had fun throughout the prime, the dreaded moment arrived. Nikos Aliagas had in his hands the envelope containing the name of the first finalist of the Star Academy 2023. After a few seconds of suspense, TF1 viewers learned that it was Axel who was eliminated of the competition, on the verge of the final. It is therefore Julien who is the first finalist of this season.
Upon hearing the news, Axel quickly hugged his friend. And his reaction greatly touched Nikos Aliagas. “Look at Axel’s big smile, very fair play to Julien“, he emphasized. He then made a big announcement: the star Academy will make a comeback for a new season. It was then an Axel in tears that TF1 viewers were able to discover. The candidate was sad to leave his comrades and we understand that.
