Last week, the seven students still competing in the Star Academy 2023 had been spared. After announcing the three nominees of the week, Djebril, Candice and Axel, Michaël Goldman made a big last minute change. When opening the gift that the principal had placed under the tree, the students could not believe their eyes and yet it was very true: neither Djebril, nor Candice, nor Axel were in danger even if they had had the lowest marks in the evaluations. This week, return of an elimination but with a different rule: two students named and one of them saved by the public.
To the notes given last week by the teachers to the students during the bonus were added those of the evaluations. Following a visit from their loved ones for Christmas, the seven students were given a song as a gift. It was this same song that they had to perform. And as they expected, Djebril and Candice were nominated again. The final blow for Candice who had continued to feel like she was at an impasse for several weeks. The young student could not understand the teachers’ expectations.
A blow to Candice at the time of the announcement
This Saturday evening, Djebril experienced this evening as his last and performed Diamonds by Rihanna to save her place. Candice performed on Divine Idyll by Vanessa Paradis. Although cute in her candy pink outfit, Candice had a hard time looking happy throughout the prime. Throughout the evening, his expression was quite closed. The young student, very close to Julien, nevertheless let tears escape during Djebril’s performance.
Shortly before 11:30 p.m., the dreaded moment finally arrived. The public made their choice and Nikos Aliagas announced the name of the eliminated person of the week. It was ultimately Candice who was eliminated while Djebril continued his adventure at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. Following Nikos Aliagas’ announcement, Candice appeared extremely shocked, her face frozen. All the students then went to join Candice to surround her and say goodbye… She will certainly need several days to digest this entire incredible adventure which ended this evening.
