Ironically, second division FC St. Pauli tripped Dortmund in the DFB Cup. Prominent fans like Elton still can’t believe it.

The first rounds of the DFB Cup in particular are always a duel between David and Goliath. Surprisingly, in yesterday’s round of 16 (January 18) the underdog FC St. Pauli defeated the big favorites Borussia Dortmund 2-1. After the early departure of record champions FC Bayern Munich, the defending champion BVB was actually the first contender for the title. The prominent fans of the neighborhood club are all the more euphoric about the coup on social networks.

The eternal “TV total” intern Elton (50) is a fervent supporter of St. Pauli. In an Instagram story, the moderator celebrates his team’s victory, shows himself “the morning after” – probably from the party the night before – looking quite tired and incidentally wants to know the sporting future of BVB superstar Erling Haaland: “Haaland is finally speaking Plain text about his future. ‘I want to play for St Pauli.'”

Love for the “Boys in Brown”

Moderator Steffen Hallaschka (50) pressed with an image of a brown heart and a white heart as well as some hashtags expressed his enthusiasm. He celebrated the success with “Thank you boys in brown” and “Nobody wins at the Millerntor”.

FC St. Pauli has a large number of prominent fans. In addition to Elton and Hallaschka, the hearts of doctor drummer Bela B. (59), moderator Reinhold Beckmann (65, drag queen Olivia Jones (52), “Tatort” star Axel Prahl (61) and musician Thees Uhlmann (47) also beat for the Kiez-Kicker.
