Sports theater shows acrobatic show in Unterhaching – district of Munich

Everything is clocked through, not a second is wasted, the energetic protagonists constantly hunt for new intensity. If the principle in a world is “Experience as much as possible!”, then the pace is relentlessly rapid. Young people get to school with somersaults, the date takes place high up on the trapeze and the balancing act between all possible dimensions of experience also has to be mastered. Under the title “The balancing act of life – use the second”, the Munich sports theater ensemble of TSV Oberhaching shows an artistic show with exciting content in the Unterhachinger Kubiz. There are three performances in total, two on Saturday July 9th and one on Sunday July 10th.

The story takes place in a future world in a small town by the sea, whose citizens are dressed in a steampunk look and where experiences are the highest good: “leisure stress” in a crass form. However, if someone is too slow for this speed, what then? Does everything then change in a second? How important is it to follow the rhythm of your own heart?

The Munich Sporttheater Ensemble was founded in 1988 as a group of TSV Oberhaching. The ensemble performs regularly on show stages in Germany and at international events and also shows full-length plays on the theater stage. “The balancing act of life – use the second” is the twelfth production of the ensemble, the second under the direction of Verena Kanoldt and her team. The sports theater has three young talent groups and currently has 110 artists aged between seven and 60. “Our passion: always trying out new things, combining them, developing them creatively and packaging acrobatics on the ground or in the air into an exciting story,” is how they describe their maxim. Nina Hausner is responsible for the imaginative and humorous story this time. In addition to Verena Kanoldt, she also acts as a director and Katharina Kubsch accompanies the probably spectacular acrobatic scenes on the piano.

The Saturday performances of the ensemble begin at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., on Sunday from 6 p.m. the Kubiz is the scene of somersaults, splits and chases on stilts.
