Sportfreunde Stiller are back – Munich

On the stage

You’re playing again. It all started with a photo on a tennis court, Peter Brugger, Florian Weber and Rudiger Linhof stand on the net in white sportswear. The photo is linked to the announcement on her Instagram pageTo be back on stage in 2022 after a five-year hiatus. Rock im Park, Rock am Ring, the big shows, the main stages of the Sports fans Stiller. Since that photo, there have been video messages on social media almost every day. In the more than 25 years of band history you get to know a few people. There asks about Silbermond-singer Stefanie Kloß is amazed: “Sportfreunde Stiller? Do they still exist?” And that’s not the only question. “Sports friends who?” (Singer Christina Stürmer), “What, they’re playing again?” (Basketball player Dirk Nowitzki), “Sportfreunde Stiller? Who was that again?” (Gunslinger), Sports presenter Kathrin Müller-Hohenstein rewrites the world championship song “54, 74, 90, 2006” and sings it into the camera. Stefan Dettl from LaBrassBanda trumpets “A compliment”. Soccer Philipp Lahm says “not bad”. And Munich’s Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter only says briefly: “The athletes? They’re playing again? It’s about time.”

Also the Munich actress Marlene Morreis has a short video message for the Sports fans Stiller turned. “What, there is still one,” says the Austrian mockingly. Marlene Morreis has known the three musicians for a long time. Years ago, when the sports fans were still at the beginning of their careers, they worked in the Atomic Café – and in this club Morreis worked as a bouncer. During this time she was discovered by the filmmaker Klaus Lemke and gave her her first film role. It was almost 20 years ago – and now Marlene Morreis has had a rapid career. From 2015 to 2020 she played with Maximilian Brückner in the crime series “Schwarzach 23”, last year she shone in the tragic comedy “Long live the Queen”, the last film by Hannelore Elsner.

On Thursday evening she played the leading role in the Denmark crime thriller “Rauhnächte” on ARD. As a patrol officer, she had to uncover the secret of a serial killer in the historic Viking town of Ribe. 6.56 million people watched the dark crime thriller. But wait a minute. An Austrian actress as a Danish policewoman, is that even possible? Clear. After all, Marlene Morreis previously studied Nordic Philology at the LMU.

The Munich actress also has crime thriller experience Sevda Polat – smaller roles in the crime scene or with Hubert and Staller. From November 16 on, Sevda Polat, born in 1985, can be seen regularly with the “Rosenheim-Cops”. She is the new forensic doctor Ela Atay in the ZDF series. Sevda Polat is a keen archer – and that helps her with her first assignment in Rosenheim.

To make sure

When everything is going ideally, is Rebecca Weiss, Industrial Design graduate from the Technical University of Munich, soon 33,000 euros richer. But even without the prize money, many couples will celebrate the Munich woman as a winner. Rebecca Weiss has created an ultrasound-based, reversible and hormone-free contraceptive for men. The device looks like a small mug. With ultrasound-generated deep heat, the sperm mobility is slowed down and their formation is temporarily prevented. The idea for this came to Rebecca Weiss when she and her partner were looking for alternatives to the pill. It was then that they realized that there were hardly any contraceptives for men. She received the James Dyson Award in Germany for her concept. Now she has also been selected for the international final of the James Dyson Award 2021.
