Is there anything more literary than account movements? The salary that comes regularly at first, then stays away and is finally replaced by unemployment benefits. Supermarket and restaurant charges, the amounts of which are gradually beginning to shrink. The larger items, flight and hotel bookings that eventually fail to materialize. Then a payment equivalent to several airfares to a law firm, and finally new monthly remittances, subject: alimony. Bank statements can tell a lifetime and have their own melancholy.
