Anyone who currently has thoughts of escape and dreams of dropping out will inevitably end up in space in view of the currently only limited habitable planet. After all, space travel is the last of the four major technologies from the mid-20th century, after computers, nuclear power and genetic engineering, that is now ready for the market. Which begs the question of whether you can really escape the problems out there. The astronaut Anne McClain, for example, is a highly decorated pilot in the US Air Force who flew 216 combat missions in the Iraq war. If everything goes according to plan, she will be the first woman to set foot on the moon in 2024. When she returned from her last mission on the international space station ISS in April of last year, however, she was initially faced with a complaint of identity theft and improper access to a bank account. Because these accesses were made via the space station’s internet access, it would have been the first criminal in space.
